Bret Fox

It is with great sadness that the family of Bret Alan Fox announces his death on March 17, 2020. Bret was born in Hot Springs, SD on August 31, 1959, to Joe & Marlys Fox. He was raised in Edgemont, SD where he graduated high school in 1978.

Bret welcomed his first child Jessah in 1979 and then his son Eric is 1984. Bret and his family moved to Nevada in 1989 where he spent the next 14 years raising his family and working for Newmont Gold Mine.

In 2004, Bret relocated to Sheridan, WY. He married Debby on Feb. 6, 2006 and welcomed his step-daughter Alicia into his family. Bret and Debby resided in Sheridan, WY where Bret worked at Decker and Spring Creek Mine. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley, and working on cars.

To those who knew him, Bret will hold a special spot in their hearts, known for his laugh and sense of humor.

Bret will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debby, his father Joe Fox; 3 siblings: Mark Fox, Jerry Fox, and Jeanie Fox; 3 children: Jessah (Ryan) McIntosh and Eric (Kacie) Fox;
step-daughter: Alicia (John) Biorn; 8 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marlys Fox.

The family has asked that any memorial donations be made to any suicide prevention or Alcoholics Anonymous program. Champion Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.  Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com.
