The high school wrestling season is not necessarily over after the state meet.

Six Sheridan wrestlers competed at the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) folk style wrestling national championship tournament in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Wrestlers compete against other wrestlers within their grade level (freshmen vs. freshmen, sophomores vs. sophomores, etc…), in an effort to place in the top 8, which wins them All-American status.
