Colorado Motorist Arrested After High Speed Chase And Shooting At Troopers

No one was injured and a Colorado man has been arrested after leading Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers on a high speed chase and opening fire at one of them.
The Patrol says just after 11pm on Monday, November 15th, a trooper attempted to stop a car for a speeding violation on Interstate 25 near mile post 10, which is within the Cheyenne city limits.
The driver did not stop and led law enforcement on a pursuit north on I-25, with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.
Once the pursuit was in Platte County, deputies were successful in deploying a tire deflation device.
Afterwards, the driver exited the vehicle and started to shoot at a trooper, who returned fire.
The driver was taken into custody after the exchange, with no one injuries reported.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the situation.
