Campers in the Sinks Canyon Campground southwest of Lander are being advised to watch out for aggressive wildlife behavior.

According to the US Forest Service, a cow moose charged at people and dogs sometime this past Monday (June 7th).

Visitors in the area are being asked to stay alert for any wildlife activity, and do not approach any kind of wild animal.

Also keep children close-by, as well as dogs on their leash and under control.

The National Forest Foundation reports that moose injure more people than any other animal in the US.
