COVID-19 Numbers as of 3 p.m. April 8

The Wyoming Department of Health reports the state has 48,068 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 701 deaths in the state resulting from COVID-19.  

Laramie County has the highest confirmed active case count in the state with 100 confirmed active cases, according to the WDH. 

Sheridan County has a total of 2,445 lab confirmed positive cases since the counting of cases began, an increase of one case in the past 24 hours. The WHD is reporting a total of three active lab confirmed cases in the county, and 3,050 cases recovered. The WDH reports 640 probable cases in Sheridan County. Sheridan County has experienced 31 deaths related to the virus. 

Johnson County has 423 confirmed cases. Increasing by zero cases since the county last updated, according to the WDH. There is one active lab confirmed case and 291 probable cases. The WHD reports Johnson County has 702 cases recovered and has experienced 10 deaths resulting from the coronavirus. Find these and more statistics here.
