Councilor Discusses Water Restrictions

The Sheridan City Council recently passed a resolution that requests that all City residents and businesses quit watering their lawns, green spaces, and gardens for the season due to the recent discovery of the Japanese Beetle in Sheridan. Sheridan City Councilman Clint Beaver explains the reason for the water restrictions.
The Japanese Beetle was first discovered in Kendrick Park in Sheridan on August 17. The invasive insect will eat the foliage, flowers and fruits of over 300 ornamental and agricultural crop plants and trees.
