Johnson County OKs Victim Witness Program Contract

A contract between Johnson County and the State of Wyoming for the Victim-Witness Program has been approved by the county commission.
Commission Chair Bill Novotny gave more details on the contract.
According to justice.gov the Victim-Witness Program assists victims of crime during the prosecution process, provides information and referrals, helps ensure that victims’ rights are upheld, and notifies victims of public court proceedings.
County Attorney Tucker Ruby reviewed the contract and recommended it for approval.
