Published

on

While recently talking to the Buffalo City Council, State Representative Marilyn Connolly (HD40) discussed what she called a “root philosophy and ideology battle” in the legislature over rainy day and reserve accounts and how much money should be set aside and how much should be given out.

Connolly said the legislature has $3.1 million for a project at Buffalo High School that is the second priority on the list for funding.

She also talked about this year may be the year that funding for the domicile project at the Veterans Home of Wyoming may finally be passed, adding that the amount earmarked in the legislation had increased from $70 million last year to $87 million this year.

We will have more of Representative Connolly’s comments in a future story.
