City Approves Sale of Extrication Equipment
The sale of a surplus set of hydraulic extrication equipment was an item of consideration at this week’s business meeting of the Sheridan City Council. Sheridan Fire-Rescue Chief Gary Harnish says the equipment is better known as the jaws of life.
Following a public hearing on the sale of the equipment, the City Council gave their approval of the transfer and sale of the hydraulic extrication equipment to the Clearmont Fire District in the amount of $5,000.
