Rezone Request
Q Construction, LLC, has submitted a rezone application to the City of Sheridan for property at 1039 2nd Ave East, tract 28 of Brundage Place, which is south of Brundage Lane near Coffeen Avenue. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said the property is one acre in size and the request is to rezone the land from R-1 Residence District to B-1 Business District to allow for multi-family development on the property. Schroeder provided further details on the proposed rezone during the recent City Council study session.
Schroeder said adjacent properties are zoned M-1 Industrial to the north, R-1 Residence to the east, B-2 Business to the south, and B-1 Business to the west and that nearby land uses include single-family residential, multi-family residential, auto sales, restaurants, and a hotel. First reading of the ordinance to rezone the property will come before the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
