Buffalo Council Approves Mayor’s Appointment

Buffalo’s City Council has approved Mayor Shane Schrader’s recommendation to fill an open seat on one city board.

Mayor Schrader recommended Nikki Smerski to fill the open seat for a four-year term on the Buffalo Trails Board.

The council approved the recommendation with no discussion.

The Buffalo Trails Board is a volunteer board that oversees the city’s extensive trail system, also providing maintenance and upkeep. The board is responsible for maintaining the city’s master trails plan.
