Johnson County Tourism Association Marketing Director Toby Carrig, in his annual report to the Buffalo City Council, discussed the next project the organization will tackle that will begin this fall.

Carrig said the JCTA had hired Social Media Content Producer Angela Gray, who has produced a number of short videos highlighting the history of Buffalo, Kaycee, Johnson County, and things to do and see here, all designed to appeal to social media attention spans.

He also highlighted one longer video on the Hole-in-the-Wall area near Kaycee that has been entered for consideration to be featured at some well-known film festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, SxSW (south by southwest) in Texas, and the Big Sky International Film Festival in Montana.

Carrig discussed National tourism trends, and we will have that in an upcoming story.
