Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade 2025

The weather didn’t damper the spirits of the 2026 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade in downtown Sheridan Friday morning, or any of the participants who took part.  The theme of this year’s parade was Stars, Stipes and Summer Nights, and the top creative entries were awarded for their efforts.

The First Peoples PowWow won Grand Prize again this year with multiple flatbeds filled with participants dressed in colorful native dress and beads.  The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Wranglers carrying sponsor flags won the top prize for Mounted Unit Groups and Range took first place commercial entry.  An energetic dance routine from Donna’s Dance Academy earned them first place in Youth organizations. 

There are awards for many other categories including Bands and Drill Units, Community Groups, Organizations and a Tax Exempt Category.  This year’s parade was sponsored by Century 21 BHJ, realty, Inc.

Some entries were automatically disqualified for throwing objects from the float.  This is a serious safety hazard as kids could run out and be injured by the float.
