Stick Horse Race 2025
Stick horses of all types carried their young riders around barrels at the Annual Stick Horse Races preceding the Boot Kick-Off held on Tuesday to usher in the start of WYO Rodeo Week in Sheridan. The annual event took place in Whitney Commons Park, and there were many participants in both events.

Anthony Fairbanks, Chamber Ambassador, was stable manager for the stick horses at the event. He had a busy evening.

Other royalty included Dusty Miller, Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2025, who hails from Cowely, Wyoming, also attended last night’s event.
The timed Stick Horse Barrel Races started the event. Participants had to run as fast as possible on their stick horses around barrels and back to the start.
