Sheridan Commission OK’s 2025 Holiday Courthouse Closure Schedule

The schedule for closing the Sheridan County Courthouse for holidays in 2025 was reviewed and approved by the county commission at their first regular meeting for December Tuesday morning.

County Administrative Director Cameron Duff gave details on Resolution No. 24-12-025 for the proposed closures at the meeting.

No discussion was offered before the commission voted to approve.

Independence Day, Friday, July 4

Labor Day, Monday, September 1

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27

Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25

New Years Day, 2026, Thursday, January 1, 2026

Also approved at the commission’s discretion are:

Employee Appreciation Day, Friday, November 28

Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, courthouse closes at 1 p.m.
