Aaron PalmerThe schedule for closing the Sheridan County Courthouse for holidays in 2025 was reviewed and approved by the county commission at their first regular meeting for December Tuesday morning.
County Administrative Director Cameron Duff gave details on Resolution No. 24-12-025 for the proposed closures at the meeting.
No discussion was offered before the commission voted to approve.

New Years Day 2025, Wednesday, January 1
Equality Day, Monday, January 20
Presidents Day, Monday, February 17
Memorial Day, Monday, May 26
Independence Day, Friday, July 4
Labor Day, Monday, September 1
Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11
Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27
Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25
New Years Day, 2026, Thursday, January 1, 2026
Also approved at the commission’s discretion are:
Good Friday, Friday, April 18, courthouse closes at 1 p.m.
