Aaron PalmerBuffalo’s City Council, during their regular meeting Tuesday evening, considered Ordinance No. 1419 on second reading, which is the annexation of the Pike Addition to the City of Buffalo.
The land proposed to be annexed is a roughly 10-acre parcel on Cinema Drive, adjacent to the Sunset Business Park located on Highway 16 East.
According to the city’s planning consultant, who addressed the council before the first reading of the Ordinance, there is a plan for a minor subdivision on the property, but the council is only considering the annexation at this time.
No comment was offered during the second reading.
The council voted unanimously to approve the second reading of the annexation Ordinance.
A third reading of the Ordinance is needed to approve the annexation, which will be considered at the council’s next meeting December 17.
