Clearmont Mayor talks about Cap Fac Tax

The Capital Facilities 1-Cent Tax was approved yesterday by Sheridan County Voters. The one cent tax was first voted in in 1988.

Chris Schock, Clearmont Mayor, talked about how the Cap Fac tax helps smaller communities like Clearmont.

Schock mentioned in a previous town council meeting that the tax is paid not only by Sheridan County residents but by tourists in the area and those traveling through Sheridan County as well.
