Arvada-Clearmont School to Hold 9-11 Ceremony

Everyone is invited to come to Arvada-Clearmont School on Tuesday, Sept 10 at 8 a.m., when the Student Council will hold the annual 9-11 Patriot Day Ceremony. The Ceremony is to honor the memory of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001, when a terrorist attack took down the twin towers in New York, killing 2,753 people, of whom 343 were firefighters. The attack also killed 184 people in the Pentagon, and 40 in the crash of the hijacked plane in Pennsylvania.

The ceremony will be held a day early due to many teachers being gone on Sept. 11. It will be held outside by the flagpole. The National Guard reps will also be there.
