The Sheridan WYO Rodeo is partnering with Sheridan County School District #2, the City of Sheridan, Sheridan Travel & Tourism, and Bomber Mountain Bus to offer an all-new, free, downtown-to-fairgrounds shuttle service and additional free parking for this year’s event, July 10-13.

The WYO will also offer a new free shuttle bus to and from the Sheridan High School parking lot and Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

The only public parking on Sheridan County Fairgrounds property is designated for people with handicapped parking tags.

New this year, Sheridan County School District #2 is providing a free bus service from downtown Sheridan, at 103 N Gould (old Cook Ford/C&C Tire building) to Sheridan County Fairgrounds 5th St. entrance, running 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. each night of the rodeo, and for two hours at the end of the rodeo (approximately 9:30 – 11:30 p.m.).

A free City of Sheridan parking lot is located adjacent to the downtown bus stop.

Also new this year, Bomber Mountain Bus will now provide shuttle service from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. each night of the rodeo, and for two hours at the end of the rodeo (approximately 9:30 – 11:30 p.m.), for all four nights.

Service will run to and from the Sheridan High School parking lot at the south exit, and Sheridan County Fairgrounds, at the 5th St. entrance.

“Our goal is to provide more free parking and free safe-ride options to and from the WYO Rodeo,” said Hayden Heaphy, Sheridan WYO Rodeo board president. “Each year, we endeavor to enhance our community’s WYO Rodeo experience. Parking and safe-ride options are an essential part of that effort. We couldn’t do this without the support of our community partners – we are grateful for everyone’s commitment to making this the best WYO Rodeo yet!”

Sheridan High School Parking & Shuttle Service Wednesday through Saturday, July 10-13
5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and for two hours following rodeo, approximately 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Well it is about time once again for services like this. I don’t plan on going this year, but has bee n hard for me to walk from the High School to the fair grounds. Many of the Handicap parking areas are taken fast. Yeah to all who are making this happen.
