JCSD1 Board Approves Employment Recommendations

Aaron PalmerDuring this month’s meeting in Kaycee, the Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District, as part of their Consent Agenda, voted to approve the employment recommendations for June.
Approved were Lisa Townsend for Elementary Education at Cloud Peak Elementary (CPES); Rena Anderson as Language Arts Teacher at Clear Creek Middle School (CCMS); Ashley Farris for Elementary Education at CPES; Coy Morris as a Social Studies Teacher at CCMS; Ross Walker as Head Football Coach at Buffalo High School (BHS) Josh Clason as Head Girls Basketball Coach, CCMS; Lisa Ramey as a Special Education Teacher at CPES; Kadelyn Burd as Music Teacher for grades 3-5 at CPES; Casey Buhr as FT Custodian at CPES; Kabre Richards as Teacher of the visually Impaired, a new position; and John Hepp as Head Girls Basketball Coach at BHS.
Resignations from the district approved by the board were Val Streeter as Assistant Volleyball Coach at Kaycee High School; and Ron Glassock as Head Girls Soccer Coach at BHS.
Bonnie Bischoff, Special Education Teacher at CCMS was approved for retirement.
And the transfer of Freya Butterfield from 5th grade teacher at CPES to Language Arts at CCMS was also approved by the board.
