Sheridan Commission to Make Appointments to Boards Tuesday

The Sheridan County Commission will work through a full agenda at their regular meeting Tuesday morning.

They are scheduled to make appointments to county boards including the Historic Preservation Commission; the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board; the Fulmer Public Library Board; Parks & Recreation Board; Planning & Zoning Commission; and the Sheridan Travel & Tourism Joint Powers Board.

Also on their agenda is consideration of a petition by the City of Sheridan concerning the County Fairgrounds property; a lot size variance; consideration of proposals for leases at the County Airport; and a joint Resolution approving the proposition for the continuation of a 1% Specific Purpose Excise Tax and to place it on the ballot for the November 5 General Election.

The meeting will get underway Tuesday morning beginning at 9 a.m. in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
