Sheridan Commission OKs New Deputy Clerk Position

During their regular meeting Tuesday, Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a request by County Clerk Eda Schunk-Thompson to allow her to hire someone for a new deputy clerk position in her office.

Schunk-Thompson explained the need for the new position.

The position will have a starting wage of $36,500 annually, according to discussion at the meeting.

The commission voted to approve the new position.
