Krinkee Memorial Service Procession

A cool, cloudy day welcomed the hundreds of people who lined Main Street and Coffeen Avenue on Friday, March 1 for the funeral procession for Sergeant Nevada Paul Krinkee, who was killed in the line of duty on Feb 13. The procession began at the Sheridan Police Station, and proceeded to Sheridan College, where the memorial service was held.

The streets were lined with flags and with people who came to pay their respects to the fallen officer.

Police Captain Tom Ringley talked to Sheridan Media on Thursday about the event. He said it was set up by the SPD with coordination with the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

He had this to say about the fallen officer.

Krinkee was an army veteran who served in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division as a parachutist. He served for six years on the Sheridan Police Department. During the memorial service Ringley said he would be

Sheriff and police officers from throughout Wyoming were represented, as well as law enforcement officers from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the Veterans Police, the Wyoming Game and Fish, and from several neighboring states, including Utah, Nebraska and Montana. There were several hundred cars forming the procession.
