Code Amendment Ordinance Clears Final Hurdle

An ordinance to amend City of Sheridan code was considered by the Sheridan City Council on final reading Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron RIchter has the details.

Ordinance 2293 that amends Chapter 9 of City Code relating to courts, fines and imprisonment, was approved by the City Council on final reading. City Attorney Brad Thimmesch.

Thimmesch said that while Chapter 9 of City Code has been revised several times throughout the years, much of it has remained unchanged since 1937.
