JCSD1 to Follow Governor’s Closure Guidelines

In response to Wyoming officials extending the three existing statewide health orders already in place, Johnson County School District One Superintendent Jim Wagner has announced the district will follow those guidelines and remain closed through April 17th.
Governor Mark Gordon and State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist on Friday extended the the orders to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Those include closing public spaces, including schools, prohibiting gatherings of 10 or more people, closing restaurants, bars, theaters, and other businesses through April 17th.
With the extension of the closures by state officials, Superintendent Wagner said district schools will remain closed, and students will continue on-line education through that date, at the least.
