WDE Releases 2022-23 Graduation Rates for Wyoming School Districts

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has released a report on the graduation rates of school districts for the 2022-23 school year, with the local districts scoring above the state average and two of the three Sheridan County districts scoring really well.
According to the report, high school graduation rates remained relatively consistent, with an 81.4 percent rate in 2022-23, a slight decrease of .4 percent from 2021-22’s.
Wyoming’s graduation rates have remained statistically strong, above 80 percent, since 2015-16.
Despite the slight decrease, 284 more students graduated in Wyoming last year, than in the previous year.
Thirteen Wyoming school districts posted graduation rates of 90% or above, including: Sheridan #3 at 100%; and Sheridan #2 at 90.2%.
Sheridan #1, in 2022-23, had a graduation rate of 82.2% or 88 of 107 students.
Johnson County #1 posted a rate of 89.6% or 86 out of 99 students for 2022-23.
Both Sheridan #1 and Johnson #1 scored above the state average for graduation rates in 2022-23.
