We the People Championship Team Recognized by SCSD#2 Board

SHS History teacher Mike Thomas introduced the We the People State Championship Team at the Monday, Jan. 8 SCSD#2 Board of Trustees meeting.

One of the members of the team spoke to the board about the program.

She added about her experience at the state competition, and what she is learning through the program.

Many of the board members commented on the We the People Team. Trustee Ed Fessler said this about the competition and what the students learn.

Trustee Wayne Schatz wondered about the funding for the trip to Washington DC for the team, and Thomas talked about some of the fund raising that was going on for the trip.
