cvannoyAt the Tuesday, Dec. 5 Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Legislative forum, Dr. Walt Tribley, Sheridan College President, updated the Legislators, Sen. Kinskey and Sen. Biteman, along with Rep. Crago, Rep. Western, Rep. Jennings and Rep. Pendergraft, on Sheridan College.
Tribley thanked the chamber and the legislators on behalf of the college. He added this
He said that the Sheridan College convention center, hosted over 11,000 visitors last year.
He talked about one of the outstanding students who is working on her master’s degree after attending Sheridan College. He added that 18 students were able to complete their GED’s at Sheridan College.

He also mentioned the building on the east side of which is being remodeled.
He showed the legislators a chart showing the growth of Sheridan College, and how it compares to others in the state. He added that Sheridan College enrollment for full-time students increased 6.7% over the last year.
Tribley also talked about dual and concurrent enrollment, which has increased 38.6% in last five years. “That is college for high school students,” he said, “That is a very strong financial way to offer higher education.”
He said that Sheridan College appreciates the support of the State of Wyoming and the Legislators.
