cvannoyChris Schock, Mayor of Clearmont, brought his concerns before the legislators at the recent Chamber of Commerce forum.
He first thanked them for supporting the town,
He also talked about some recent improvements that are being done in Clearmont on their streetlights.
Schock added that the town raised the wages for the town maintenance man. Schock wondered about health insurance for workers as well.
He also gave them a brief update on the Clearmont water system and Well #3, which they are still having problems with. Senator Kinskey asked if all the work Clearmont water lines, Schock answered, yes. He said that the work on the pump house was finished as well, and said they put in a new digital meter last summer.

He wondered if SLIB could do an email vote, which they did. “Ultimately we got it done,” Kinskey said.
This year the legislators attending the forum were Senators Dave Kinskey and Bo Biteman, along with Representatives Barry Crago, and Cyrus Western, Mark Jennings and Ken Pendergraft.
