Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts Jill Benson stopped into Sheridan Media’s Public pulse to discuss the upcoming 2023 Arts Summit.
According to the Wyoming Arts Council, The Arts Summit is a biannual event and is an opportunity for individuals to come together, learn from one another, and empower the state’s creative sector. There will be sessions and workshops that provide professional development opportunities for artists and advocates, administrators, and educators.
Benson said she is excited to have Sheridan play such a major role in this year’s Arts Summit. But it also takes the nuts and bolts to make it all work and she is looking forward to attendees learning about the logistics of the arts and performing arts during the many sessions and seminars being offered over the course of the four day summit.

The WYO Performing Arts and Education Center Theater, SAGE Community Arts, The Brinton Museum, the Ucross Foundation and the Neltje Center for Excellence in Creativity and the Arts will all host events during the summit.
During the summit, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon will also make an announcement.
