Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved the requested mill levies for the county for the 2023-24 fiscal year.

At the recent county commission meeting, County Assessor Paul Fall spoke on the mill levies.

Commissioner Nick Siddle asked the assessor about what the outcome of lowering a mill levy would do for the county and for the average taxpayer in the county.

After doing the math, Fall told the commission the savings to the average homeowner would be $9.50 on a $100,000 home.
