Sheridan Commission Accepts Agreement for Inmate Healthcare

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, at their last regular meeting, discussed and then approved an agreement between the county and Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. concerning inmate healthcare at the county detention center.
Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez explained why his office was seeking a new agreement with a new provider.
Dominguez said sheriff’s office employees reached out to other vendors that provide the same services and found significant savings withAdvancedCorrectional Healthcare.
The cost of the services now will be just over $312,000 which will save the county nearly $209,000 for inmate healthcare services.
