Wyoming Department Of Education Seeks Public Input On Math And Science Standards

The Wyoming Department of Education is collecting public input on the 2023 Wyoming Math and Science Standards at the request of the State Board of Education (SBE).
The collected input will be shared with the SBE.
The SBE, along with State Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder, resolved to reduce the standards load and enact an audit of the Math and Science Standards first.
Input was also collected from school districts, and a Curriculum Directors’ Advisory Committee reviewed the work of the audit committee and the input from districts to make a final recommendation to the SBE.
The SBE passed a motion to collect public and educator input on the proposed 2023 Wyoming Math and
Science Standards at its meeting on February 24, 2023. (Click here to view the standards)

So you still insist on teaching evolution and the big bang theory to our high schoolers. Even Darwin admitted that he didn’t believe his own theory of evolution. If you are trying to be diverse, you should offer also what the Bible says about our earth. And how the flood of Noah changed the face of the earth, caused an ice age and changed the atmosphere to the point that dinosaurs could not thrive any longer. There’s plenty of scientific evidence to support it. If you’re going to teach science, teach the truth. We all know global warming is a hoax and they changed it to climate change because we saw through the nonsense. Quit lying to our kids! And hopefully you got rid of the dumbing down called common core math. What a joke that is! Just try telling an engineer to use that garbage!
