Buffalo Building Inspector Updates Various Construction Projects

Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay gave an update to the city council concerning various construction projects currently underway or slated to begin shortly within the city limits.

Asay spoke about construction at the Johnson County Healthcare Center.

123 building permits, nine of which were for new homes, have been issued since the beginning of the fiscal year July 1 of 2022.

Tri Mountain Homes is currently building four new homes in the Shiloh Addition and Monument Homes is building five new homes in the Buffalo Ridge Addition.

And scheduled for this month’s Planning & Zoning meeting is a review an application from Love’s Truck Stop for outside water and sewer for their proposed new facility near Big Horn Tire east of town.

Their recommendation is expected to be for approval of the application.
