Buffalo Council Passes Annexation on First Reading

Ordinance No. 1414, which will approve the annexation of the Deer Park Addition to the City of Buffalo has passed its first reading by the Buffalo City Council.
During their regular meeting this week, the council discussed the annexation before the vote.
Councilman John Camino asked Planner/Building Inspector Terry Asay about the annexation process.
Asay said the subdivision owners will need to come back to the city to apply for updated zoning in the future should they choose to redesign or for any other future development.
The property is located just north of Highway 16, east of Buffalo near the Deer Park Campground.
The council approved the Ordinance on its first reading, but two other readings will be required for the annexation to happen.
