Aaron PalmerState Representative Barry Crago (R-Johnson, Sheridan Counties), in this week’s update with Sheridan Media on the current legislative session, discussed direct distribution funding to city, town, and county governments.
Crago said both the House and Senate passed an increase in the payments.
Governor Mark Gordon, in his supplemental budget proposal to the legislature, requested an additional $26 million be allocated for cities, towns and counties.
The bill passed by the legislature will now head to the governor’s desk for his signature.
