A popular downtown Sheridan restaurant has reopened in time for its decennial.

After a 4 ½ month hiatus due to a fire, Frackelton’s reopened its doors on Tuesday (January 31st) to dining customers.

A fire in the back part of the restaurant in September, forced the short-term closure of the restaurant, so that cleanup and repair work could be performed.

Owner Andy Ward says the Sheridan area has been very supportive as he tries to get business back to normal.

“We got most of our good people back and we’ve been able to add some quality new people to our team as well. It’s more than just the food and the atmosphere, it’s also a place where people come to talk to other people in the community and it’s a place to see and be seen.”

Ward took over ownership of the restaurant 2 years ago, and says he recently added a few new items to the menu, to celebrate the reopening.

This year marks 10 years since it first opened.
