In his weekly discussion with Sheridan Media from the legislative session, State Senator Dave Kinskey (R-Sheridan, Johnson Counties) discussed property tax reform, saying not much has changed in the last week, and he is concerned that nothing will get done.

He said he is still backing Senate File 136.

Kinskey said so far all of the property tax reform bills are still in play in the legislature.

With a number of different ideas on how to approach issues, Kinskey explained how lawmakers get their bills moved along, even though it can be a lengthy and frustrating process.

Kinskey said the legislative process can be “like swimming through Jell-O.”

We will have more from State Senator Kinskey in upcoming stories.
