Zonta Meeting to Feature Charlie Falkis, Human Trafficking Survivor

Interested community members are invited to the Zonta Club of the Wyoming Big Horns Membership Meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. It will be held at the Sheridan Rib & Chop House, 847 N. Main. Those wishing to can order from the No-Host Menu. Those attending are also encouraged to bring a friend.

The guest speaker will be Charlie Falkis, who is a human trafficking survivor and an advocate of anti-trafficking work with UPRISING. We will also touch on the contributions made by Amelia Earhart to the women’s rights movement and share information about the Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship – which is a scholarship program for women in the Aeronautics field Plus, what a great opportunity to get to know other amazing women in the Sheridan area!

Anyone interested can consider bringing a donation of any kind of art or craft supplies for the girls at the Wyoming Girls School. (Thread, needles, sketch pads, paint/paint brushes, yarn, embroidery, quilting supplies, charcoal markers, scissors, glue and so much more.)
