Sheridan County Amends Contract for Inmate Health Care

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified an amendment to the agreement for Inmate Health Care Services at the Sheridan County Detention Center.

The amendment extends the agreement between the county and Wellpath, LLC for an additional 12 months beginning in July of 2022.

The county is responsible for administering, managing, and supervising the healthcare delivery system at the detention center, and Wellpath is the contracted provider of the health care services.

The revision specifies that the base amount the county will pay Wellpath is just over $327,000 annually or roughly $27,000 per month, which reflects a 7% increase in the amount.
