Johnson County Lifts Hiring Freeze for Public Health

The county-wide hiring freeze in Johnson County that has been in place for quite some time has been lifted to allow the hiring of a new employee for the Public Health Office.

Robin King, representing the Public Health Office, spoke with the commissioners about their need for another employee.

King said she is the only staff member available at the moment, and although they have filled an open nurse position, she will not be available until mid-November.
