Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a lot size variance request in the Big Horn Meadows Subdivision.

County Planner Mark Reid explained that Brett and Annetta Sayer applied for a variance to the minimum lot size zoning standards to permit reduction of a 2.96-acre parcel known as Lot 5 by just under 3,500 square feet.

They wish to merge the 3,500 square feet with Lot 4 for a boundary line adjustment, increasing its area to 2.69 acres.

Dave Randall, with Randall Engineering Surveys of Sheridan, explained the need for the variance to the commission.

The commission voted to approve the variance.
