Sheridan County OKs Postponement of Subdivision

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their latest meeting, approved an agreement to postpone the Belsby Minor Subdivision.

The subdivision had been approved on March 1 by the commission, according to County Planner Mark Reid, who explained why the postponement was needed.

As explained in the Public Works Department staff report from the March 2 commission meeting, Serena Belsby applied for a permit for lands located roughly two miles south of Sheridan, which is a 15-acre property proposed to be split to create two parcels of about 6.6 and 8.4 acres each.

Reid said the planning staff recommended approval of the agreement as it is good for both the subdivider and the county.
