JCSD1 Board Approves Policy Revisions

The Johnson County School Board passed policy revisions during their meeting this week, on their first and second reading.
The first policy, known as JEB, deals with the age at which students can enroll in kindergarten and first grade, and had its first reading.
Policy GCBA concerns professional staff compensation, and also had its first reading.
The last policy revision, known as JLCD, is on administering medicine to students.
The school nurses reviewed the policy and made recommendations for revisions for the district to remain in compliance and current practice, to be put in place for the current 2022-23 school year.
The policy had its second reading.
