Aaron PalmerThe 2022 WYO Rodeo Parade was Friday morning, with over 100 entries winding through downtown to celebrate Sheridan’s big summer event.
The parade featured regular entries like the Native American entires, The 7th Cavalry Drum & Bugle Corp, classic cars, equestrian entries, area rodeo royalty, as well as the expected floats.
Political entries were also in high numbers as this is an election year for some local, state, and national offices.
One of the largest entries was the Wyoming All-State Marching Band featuring over 200 students representing 27 high schools across Wyoming. The band, under the direction of Brent Rose and Aric Hageman, will march through Disney World on August 5.
Sheridan Media also participated in the parade by submitting their 1951 Seagrave Pumper Fire Truck and the Sheridan Media van.
