The Sheridan County High School Art Gala

SAGE Community Arts’ mission is to build community through the visual arts by helping people see more art, create more art, and by further promoting local art and artists.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Executive Director Jill Benson told listeners about the latest exhibit on display containing art created by local Sheridan County high school students. 

According to Benson, the quality of the art being created by students drew the attention of patrons from out of town, surprised by the skills and talent on display. 

Benson said she is only wanting to expand on the art that has been gathered from students in Sheridan County in the future years. 

Students have had their art on display since May 3, and the show will conclude on May 28. The art created by the students spans many mediums and forms, pen and ink, paints, sculptures and photography.
