Mayor Shane Schrader made a proclamation celebrating trees during the Buffalo City Council’s most recent meeting.

City Building Inspector Terry Asay reported that the planning & zoning commission would be reviewing a number of re-zone applications.

Warmer weather during April has meant an increase in inspection requests, and he expects that trend to continue.

He touched on the upcoming free dump days again which are May 18, 19, 20 and 21. City residents, with a voucher issued from city hall, can make as many trips to the landfill as they wish during those four days.

Also announced during the meeting was the May city council meetings on May 3 and May 17 at 5 p.m.; the city’s department head meeting May 3 at 7 a.m.; and a budget hearing on April 28 at 7 a.m.
