It was as if a lid was on the basket.

The Sheridan Bronc boys basketball team shot 28.6% from the field (14 of 49 shooting), and by the time they put a run together in the 4th quarter, it was way too late, as Cheyenne East would prevail 56-44 in the 4A Semi-Finals.

There were many times that Sheridan had a good look at the basket, but couldn’t get their shots to drop in.

Alex Sanders led the Broncs scoring-wise with 10 points.

The Thunderbirds shot 50% from the field (21 of 42 shooting) and won the rebounding battle 38-23.

Kysar Jolly had a double-double for East (19 points, 10 rebounds), while Drew Jackson scored 11 and Colter McAnelly grabbed 12 rebounds.

Sheridan will conclude the 2021-2022 season in the 4A Boys 3rd place game on Saturday, March 12th, vs. Kelly Walsh at 3pm at Casper College.
