Rams / Eagles Advance at State Hoops / Lady Broncs Advance at East Regional / Broncs Face Elimination

STATE 1-A / 2-A BASKETBALL – The 1-A / 2-A state basketball tournament started Thursday in Casper the Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles advanced into the semi finals with first round victories.
In the 2-A girls bracket the Tongue River Lady Eagles dropped their opener to Wyoming Indian 59-45 the loss puts them into an elimination game against St. Stephens at 9am.
The Eagles beat Big Piney 70-55 and head into the one semi final game against Pine Bluffs at 9pm.
The Rams advanced by beating Rocky Mountain 41-23 they will play Wind River tonight in the other semi final at 7:30.
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The 4-A East regional started Thursday in Cheyenne the Lady Broncs beat Cheyenne Central 43-27 they play Cheyenne East in the semi finals at 3:00.
The Sheridan Broncs were blown out by Kelly Walsh 66-38 they play Campbell county at 10:30 in an elimination game.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys play at home tomorrow against Fresno state to close out the regular season the game will tip off st 2:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Cowgirls open the MWC tournament Monday night in Las Vegas at 9:30 against the winner of tomorrow’s match up between Colorado state and San Jose state.
INDOOR TRACK – The Sheridan high school indoor track teams open the state indoor meet in Gillette today.
