Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River competed at Natrona in place of the Simplot Games, which was supposed to take place in Pocatello, Idaho, but was canceled for the 2nd straight year due to COVID concerns.
Carter McComb finished 1st in the 55 meter dash and was runner-up in the 200 meter dash.
Nathan Fitzpatrick, Carl Askins and Patrick Aasby finished 4th, 5th and 7th respectively in the boys 400 meter dash.
Reese Charest was runner-up in the boys 800 meter run.
Austin Akers and Robby Miller finished in 3rd and 6th respectively in the boys 1600 meter run.
Sage Gradinaru was 4th in the 3200 meter run.
Rich Hall was 6th in the boys 55 meter hurdles.
Sheridan boys placed 1st in the 4 by 400 meter relay, 2nd in the spring medley relay, 3rd in the 4 by 800 meter relay and 4th in the 4 by 200 meter relay.
Big Horn boys placed 4th in the sprint medley relay.
Brennan Mortensen placed 3rd in the boys high jump.
Zach Leiding placed 7th in the boys long jump.
Ryan Karajanis, Kaden Moeller and Gaige Tarver placed 1st, 2nd and 5th respectively in the boys pole vault.
Texas Tanner placed 2nd in the boys shot put. Josh Thompson of Big Horn was 3rd.
Abby Newton placed 5th in the girls 800 meter run.
Alyssa Fehlauer placed 6th in the girls 1600 meter run.
Sheridan girls placed 1st in the spring medley relay, and 2nd in the 4 by 400 meter relay
Preslee Moser and Dulce Carroll placed 1st and 4th respectively in the girls high jump. Moser was also 4th in the girls triple jump.
Hanah Sullivan, Nora Butler and Josie Ankney placed 3rd, 6th and 7th respectively in the girls shot put.
The next scheduled indoor track and field meet is the Sheridan Invitational to be held in Gillette on Friday, February 25th.
This is the last meet before the state meet.
